About The Position

Oregon Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine) to join our established team at Garden Way Medical Clinic in Eugene, OR. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Oregon medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient-only Primary Care practice
  • Deliver relationship-based care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan
  • Care for older adults
  • Practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on access, continuity, and population health
  • Average 18 patients per day
  • Flexible appointment templates (15/30 or 20/40 minutes)
  • Protected administrative time built into the schedule
  • Gradual panel ramp-up and comprehensive onboarding process
  • Minimal phone-only call responsibilities
  • Opportunity to perform office procedures based on physician preference
  • Collaborative team-based care model focused on access, continuity, and population health
  • Work with a robust multidisciplinary support team including an embedded pharmacist, remote LPN support, Behavioral Health, Social Services Care Management, and centralized in-basket support
  • Utilize a team-based MA model with clinic coordinator and dedicated clerical support for referrals, records, and document management
  • Work with onsite laboratory, X-ray services, and procedure room
  • Utilize Epic EMR with Dax AI scribe and workflow support
