About The Position

Join a mission-driven Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) team in Oswego, NY, providing high-quality primary care to veterans and federal service patriots. The physician provides comprehensive outpatient primary care, including wellness exams, preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management. The role includes managing diagnostic tests, labs, and specialized treatment plans; collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical support team; and maintaining accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record system.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• BLS certification.
• Must be eligible for VHA credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including wellness exams, preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management.
• Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests, labs, and specialized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical support team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting within the electronic health record system.
