About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician in Boston, Massachusetts. The physician will manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and preventive care through in-office visits, testing-center visits, and occasional telehealth appointments. The role is structured as four days in clinic and one day remote. The physician will collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning opportunities, use their clinical training to provide care and perform in-office procedures, and supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues. The role also requires willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in other states. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency, have practiced in outpatient primary care for at least two of the last five years, and be board certified or board eligible with plans to become board certified within one year of starting. A Massachusetts license must be obtained before the start date.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
Have practiced for at least two of the last five years in an outpatient primary care setting.
Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within one year of the One Medical start date.
Hold a Massachusetts state license before the One Medical start date.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in the office or testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning activities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states as needed.
