About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician for its Oakland Uptown office in Oakland, California. The role is designed around a schedule of four days in clinic and one day remote. The physician manages a patient panel with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and well visits in the office or testing centers, along with occasional telehealth visits. The position includes opportunities to use the physician’s clinical training to perform in-office procedures, and requires supervising one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues. The physician collaborates with in-office teammates in daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, and participates in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning opportunities. The physician must be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. The work schedule may change based on business direction. One Medical describes its approach as human-centered primary care, combining in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023 and says it aims to deliver exceptional healthcare and improve health outcomes. The role requires an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency, at least two of the last five years practicing in outpatient primary care, and California licensure before the start date. Candidates must be board certified in Internal or Family Medicine or board eligible with plans to obtain certification within one year of their One Medical start date. The listed full-time base salary range is $308,700–$369,000. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule; additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding the specified qualifications and requirements. Relocation assistance may be available.
