About The Position

A well-established outpatient primary care group is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for its The Villages, Florida location. The role is focused on delivering personalized, high-quality healthcare while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The position is 100% outpatient with no inpatient responsibilities. The patient mix includes managed care, fee-for-service, and traditional Medicare. New providers begin with a gradual ramp-up of 6–8 patients daily; established physicians average 12–15 patients per day. Visits are 40 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups. Physicians participate in a shared telephone call rotation of approximately 1:12, one week at a time, and receive office support staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation includes a $230,000 base salary and a performance bonus opportunity. Benefits include a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k), short- and long-term disability coverage, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, three weeks of PTO, and one week of CME.

Requirements

MD or DO.
Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
