About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) specializing in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join our growing outpatient primary care practice in Palm Springs, CA. Our practice provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with the benefit of in-house Psychiatry services, allowing our primary care providers to collaborate closely with behavioral health professionals and provide more coordinated care for our patients. We are looking for a physician who values continuity of care, strong patient relationships, and a collaborative approach to healthcare.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active or eligible for an unrestricted California medical license
Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered primary care

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform routine physical examinations and preventive care visits
Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
Develop individualized treatment and care plans
Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD, and other common primary care conditions
Provide preventive health screenings and patient education
Coordinate referrals and specialty care when appropriate
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with nurse practitioners, clinical staff, and administrative team members
Promote continuity of care and a positive patient experience
