About The Position

One Medical is hiring a casual, per diem Primary Care Physician to provide care at its Congress Avenue clinic in Austin, Texas. The role averages an anticipated 8–23 patient-care hours per week and is hourly, with openings across Austin. The physician will see patients with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and preventive care rather than building a patient panel. Care is delivered in person and through occasional telehealth visits. The role involves collaboration with clinic teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, and includes opportunities to perform in-office procedures based on the clinician’s training. The position requires at least two years of primary care experience, Texas licensure or the ability to obtain it, completion of or enrollment in an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program, and board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. One Medical seeks clinicians who value human-centered, evidence-based primary care, communicate effectively with people of varied backgrounds, use technology effectively, collaborate well, adapt to uncertainty and patient needs, and are open to feedback and reflection. The hourly pay rate is $131.00. Casual, per diem, and locums providers receive malpractice insurance coverage, an UpToDate subscription, a One Medical-issued laptop for secure EHR access, and sick-time PTO eligibility in accordance with local requirements. The posting also describes broader benefits for regular team members working at least 24 hours per week and their dependents, as well as additional benefits and learning opportunities for practicing clinicians. The work schedule may change based on business direction.
