About The Position

ArchWell Health is seeking a physician to provide outpatient primary care to senior members at its community-based clinics in Surprise, Arizona. The organization’s care model emphasizes quality and continuity over service volume, allowing physicians to spend more time with patients, provide comprehensive care, and build relationships through small patient panels. Physicians work with a supportive care team and use cloud-based electronic health records and technology. The employed position offers base salary and a bonus based on quality metrics, along with malpractice coverage with tail and benefits including vacation, health insurance, retirement benefits, and CME.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active, non-probationary state medical license.
• Highly collaborative, with a patient-centric orientation.
• Confidence in delivering high-quality primary care and addressing patients’ medical and social needs.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in Geriatrics is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to senior patients.
• Address patients’ medical and social needs and be available to them.
• Collaborate with and lead care teams in a patient-centric manner.
• Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients, including those with comorbid conditions, elderly patients, and medically underserved populations.
• Build relationships with patients through continuity of care and small panel sizes.
