About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Outpatient Physician to join its independent multispecialty practice in Central North Carolina. The position combines primary care, urgent care, and pain management services in an outpatient setting, with onsite ancillary services and modern, well-equipped facilities. The physician will join a team of physicians and providers and deliver direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. The practice uses Allscripts EMR software and provides phone-only call coverage of 1:28 days or better.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
Completion of an accredited residency program in the area of practice, such as family practice or internal medicine.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team.
Excellent clinical skills and a strong bedside manner.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Refer patients to specialists and other relevant patient care components as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
