About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. This is a full-time specialist position in Adult Medicine at the Baltimore Harbor Medical Center. MAPMG is physician-led and offers competitive salaries without income based on individual services. The group includes board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties and utilizes a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) for care coordination. The focus is on long-term health, prevention, and effective disease diagnosis and treatment. MAPMG supports innovative ideas through research and staff to ensure quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices.

Requirements

MD or DO
Board Certified or Eligible
Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

Responsibilities

Provide primary care for a panel of approximately 2,100 patients per 10 clinical sessions, adjusted for age, gender and medical acuity
Document visit notes and post-visit summaries in EPIC EMR
Treat patients in clinic and via video/phone
Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)
Lead with integrity
