Primary Care Functional Medicine - Physician Assistant
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Provider to provide whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The provider will deliver comprehensive medical services, build lasting patient relationships, and collaborate with a high-functioning care team to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes. Care is provided through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments, with an emphasis on preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine. The role includes comprehensive onboarding, clinical mentorship, and ongoing functional and integrative medicine training. Providers receive administrative, coding, billing, medical assistant, and medical scribe support. The position offers a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+, relocation assistance, a four-day work week, and a flexible schedule. Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency using electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret labs and imaging, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
