Primary Care Functional Medicine - Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate and skilled medical provider to deliver whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The role provides comprehensive medical services, builds lasting patient relationships, and collaborates with a high-functioning care team to support optimal health outcomes. Care is provided through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments, using a functional and integrative medicine approach. Compensation includes a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+, and relocation is offered. OnePeak provides comprehensive onboarding, clinical mentorship, and ongoing functional medicine training. Providers receive administrative, coding, and billing support, with dedicated medical assistant and medical scribe support available. The position offers a four-day work week, flexible schedule, and no nights or weekends. A comprehensive benefits package and malpractice insurance coverage are also offered.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Nurse Practitioner, PA-C, MD, or DO, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an applicable specialty.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
- Accepted Nurse Practitioner licenses: FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) or AGNP-PC (Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret labs and imaging, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
