Primary Care Functional Medicine - Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate, skilled medical provider to provide whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The provider will deliver comprehensive medical services, build lasting patient relationships, and collaborate with a care team to optimize health outcomes. Care is provided through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments, with an emphasis on preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine. The role includes comprehensive onboarding, clinical mentorship, and ongoing functional and integrative medicine training. Administrative, coding, and billing support are provided, with dedicated medical assistant and medical scribe support available. Compensation is a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300,000 or more; relocation is offered. The position has a four-day work week, a flexible schedule, and no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Nurse Practitioner, PA-C, MD, or DO, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an applicable specialty.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records.
- Accepted Nurse Practitioner licenses: FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) or AGNP-PC (Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments; order and interpret labs and imaging; and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
