Primary Care Functional Medicine - Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate, skilled medical provider to provide whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The provider will deliver comprehensive medical services, build lasting patient relationships, and collaborate with a high-functioning care team to support optimal health outcomes. The role uses a functional and integrative medicine approach and includes office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments. Compensation includes a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+ and relocation assistance. OnePeak provides functional medicine onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing training, as well as administrative, coding, billing, medical assistant, and medical scribe support. The position offers a four-day work week, flexible scheduling, and no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Nurse Practitioner, PA-C, MD, or DO, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an applicable specialty.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
- Accepted Nurse Practitioner licenses: FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) or AGNP-PC (Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner—Primary Care).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments; order and interpret labs and imaging; and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
