Primary Care Functional Medicine - Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate and skilled medical provider to provide whole-person primary care and build lasting patient relationships as part of a collaborative care team. The role includes comprehensive medical services using a functional and integrative medicine approach, with onboarding, clinical mentorship, and ongoing training in OnePeak’s care model. Compensation is a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300k+, and relocation is offered. The position provides care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments. Providers assess patients, order and interpret labs and imaging, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions. They educate patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles and collaborate with health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff. The role includes administrative, coding, and billing support, with dedicated medical assistant and medical scribe support available. The schedule is a four-day work week with flexibility and no nights or weekends. Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Nurse Practitioner, PA-C, MD, or DO, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an applicable specialty.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records.
- Accepted Nurse Practitioner licenses: FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) or AGNP-PC (Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret labs and imaging, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the EHR in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
