Primary Care Functional Medicine - Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
OnePeak Medical is seeking a passionate and skilled medical provider to deliver whole-person primary care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The provider will offer comprehensive medical services, build lasting relationships with patients, and collaborate with a high-functioning care team to support optimal health outcomes. The role includes office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments, with personalized care that may incorporate lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions. OnePeak Medical provides functional and integrative medicine onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing training. The position offers a guaranteed salary with earning potential of $300,000 or more, relocation support, a four-day workweek, flexible scheduling, and no nights or weekends. Clinical and administrative support includes coding and billing assistance, and access to medical assistant and medical scribe support.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license as a Nurse Practitioner, PA-C, MD, or DO, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an applicable specialty.
- Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments.
- Perform comprehensive assessments; order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging; and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions.
- Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles.
- Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff.
- Document visits in the electronic health record in a timely and compliant manner.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
- Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.
