About The Position

We are looking for a Primary Care Sales Consultant Striker to implement sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products within an assigned territory, consistent with Bayer’s compliance standards and applicable legal requirements. This role involves targeting key Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems. The position reports to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and will be a key part of the Area Customer Squad, collaborating with internal partners to drive US Pharma outcomes. The territory covers North Fulton and Canton, Georgia, and surrounding areas, with up to 50% travel. The position is residence-based, and the candidate must reside within the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in developing long-standing relationships with customers.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

  • 5 years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience in competitive landscapes.
  • In-depth knowledge in the cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states.
  • Product launch experience.
  • Strong analytical and computer capabilities.
  • Virtual Sales Experience.
  • Strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop professional relationships with primary care physicians, nephrologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and pharmacy staff within assigned customers.
  • Drive appropriate utilization of approved cardiovascular and menopause products, with potential to add neurology drugs.
  • Work closely with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs.
  • Leverage expertise in diabetes, cardiovascular, neurology, chronic kidney disease, and menopause markets, competitors, and industry trends to manage business opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide relevant input to commercial colleagues regarding strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region.
  • Develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.
  • Understand and meet assigned customers’ product and business needs while adhering to Bayer's ethics and compliance standards.
  • Anticipate potential barriers to goal achievement and propose responsible solutions.
  • Handle customer objections effectively and exceed customer expectations.
  • Occasionally share exemplary skills with others in the region in a training capacity.
  • Leverage and embrace emerging technologies & AI to enhance performance and continuously improve proficiency.
  • Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations, applying high ethical standards.
