Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • College/University Diploma required, (Business related an asset).
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Expert knowledge of BI Software, Cognos preferred.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of related experience.
  • Product knowledge or industry experience required.
  • Previous Management experience required.
  • Previous experience in an eCommerce environment an asset.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 20% of time.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing data to provide Management and sales with pricing strategies that support the profitability of the Company.
  • Setting the schedule, reviewing and maintaining the price matrix to ensure all pricing of the customer is kept competitive while making sure maximum profitability is achieved.
  • Overseeing all pricing maintained in the business system-vendor book list and cost, in-to stock and vendor special pricing.
  • Ensuring the renewal of all vendor special pricing ensuring that it is updated in a timely fashion.
  • Assisting sales in resolving any pricing issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to implement pricing strategies for the eCommerce environment.
  • Resolving day to day personnel issues where management decisions are required.
  • Continually review and improve pricing processes to ensure maximum optimization.
