About The Position

Beechwood Sales and Service, a family-owned beer distribution company near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Pricing Analyst. This full-time, entry-level role offers valuable knowledge and experience in the beverage and distribution industry. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for managing pricing and costing systems, working with other analysts and the chain management team. Daily tasks include using Excel, calculating margins, and pricing items. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; business, math, or economics major preferred
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Strong analytical abilities
• Excellent math skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Able to work collaboratively and independently
• Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in retail highly desired

Responsibilities

• Successful management of pricing systems
• Set up new items
• Communicate changes in pricing/discounting to staff, as required
• Communicate pricing with key accounts and chains
• Timely updates of transfer pricing
• Maintain discounting and analyze efficacy of instituted discounts
• Research/correct invoicing issues
• Run reports and conduct analysis to ensure gross margin goals are met
• Successful management of costing systems
• Research supplier invoicing variances
• Track freight invoicing and ensure accurately factored into product gross margin
• Assist Sales Management team in pricing communication to suppliers
• Assist with chain account administration as necessary
• Build custom price files for specific accounts and territories as needed
• Run sales reports as necessary, special projects as assigned
