About The Position

The Press Line Mechanic services, operates, maintains, overhauls, and monitors production equipment, including sheet feeders, presses, compound liners, elevators, conveyors, and compound systems. The role supports production of standard-quality ends according to established quality standards, performs scheduled inspections, records results in a Windows-based computer, and responds to conditions outside standards. The mechanic must be able to efficiently maintain and overhaul assigned equipment. Other job-related duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Familiarity with measurement equipment and procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbook specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists, and other written materials.

Responsibilities

• Service, operate, maintain, overhaul, and monitor sheet feeders, presses, compound liners, elevators, conveyors, compound systems, and other assigned equipment.
• Maintain production of standard-quality ends as defined by quality standards.
• Perform inspections at scheduled intervals, enter corresponding data into a Windows-based computer, and respond to out-of-standard conditions.
• Efficiently maintain and overhaul assigned equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties requested by the supervisor.
