About The Position

The President and COO is a key executive leader responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic execution of the restaurant group. This role works closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence across all areas of the business. The ideal candidate is a visionary, results-driven leader with a proven track record of scaling a multi-unit restaurant brand. They must possess exceptional business acumen, a passion for the guest experience, and the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the multi-unit restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • At least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., COO, SVP of Operations).
  • A proven track record of leading a high-growth brand and scaling operations is also necessary.
  • Deep understanding of all facets of restaurant operations, from the front-of-house to the back-of-house.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a complex P&L are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term growth plan.
  • Drive overall business performance by overseeing and optimizing all operational functions, including restaurant operations, supply chain, and new store development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and innovative strategies to enhance brand relevance and market share.
  • Ensure consistency and high standards in food quality, service, and cleanliness across all restaurant locations.
  • Implement and refine operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Use key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analytics to monitor performance and make informed business decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing senior leadership team and the broader organization.
  • Foster a strong company culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and a passion for excellence.
  • Oversee talent management initiatives, including recruitment, training, and professional development to build a robust leadership pipeline.
  • Partner with the CFO to manage the P&L, develop budgets, and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Implement effective cost control measures and revenue-generating strategies.
  • Drive profitability by optimizing key metrics such as labor, food costs, and guest check averages.
  • The responsibilities include collaborating with the CEO to define and execute the strategic vision, overseeing all operational functions, implementing cost controls, and partnering with the CFO on financial management. The President is also responsible for leading and mentoring the senior leadership team and the overall organization.
