About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking dependable, part-time coaches to lead engaging children's soccer sessions for ages 18 months to 8 years old. These sessions, lasting 30-45 minutes, are held at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. Coaches will travel within a 30-40 minute radius for coaching assignments. The role offers a fun work environment where coaches can make a positive impact on children's lives through sports and fitness, focusing on skill development, character building, and fun themes.

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children's lives through the love of sports and fitness.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle that is insured.
Availability during Fall & Winter Seasons (September-December) within weekday morning (8:30 AM – 12:45 PM) or weekday afternoon (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM) timeframes.

Nice To Haves

Prior soccer experience is not required.
Experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred.
Can still be a 'kid' with a silly, goofy, and high energy personality.

Responsibilities

Lead 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old.
Travel to various locations including preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers within a 30-40 minute radius.
Implement an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes.
Ensure sessions are engaging, fun, and contribute to a positive impact on every child served.
Maintain a consistent schedule throughout the 8-10 week seasonal program.
