About The Position

Chesterbrook Academy, part of Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division, is hiring a full-time Preschool Teacher in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role is paid $18.00–$20.00 per hour and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.

Preschool Teachers create engaging experiences that help children learn through exploration and play. They use the school’s curriculum and lesson-planning resources while bringing their own interests, talents, and creativity into the classroom. The role supports children’s confidence, independence, early academic skills, friendships, and enthusiasm for learning, while building meaningful relationships with families and working collaboratively with colleagues and school leaders.

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance structure, creativity, and fun in a busy preschool classroom.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.
• CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on lessons and activities using stories, art, music, movement, and play.
• Help preschoolers develop confidence, independence, early academic skills, and friendships.
• Use curriculum and lesson-planning resources while contributing personal creativity and ideas.
• Build relationships with children and communicate with families about their child’s day, growth, and milestones.
