About The Position

The Preschool Teacher Assistant works alongside Preschool Teachers to create a fun, engaging, safe, and nurturing classroom environment where children can grow and learn. The role supports implementation of the curriculum and leads interactive activities that foster children’s physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development. Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of MODS (Introductory Child Care Training, Part 1 & 2) is required.
Work well as part of a team.
Able to engage with children indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
Available to work Monday through Friday.
Pre-employment drug test and Level 2 background screening required.
Able to meet the listed physical demands, including occasional lifting or moving of up to 40 pounds and visual focus involving close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Work alongside Preschool Teachers to provide an enriching classroom experience for children.
Help implement the curriculum in ways that promote creativity and learning.
Lead and facilitate games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and other interactive activities to foster children's physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development.
Support positive behavior by setting clear and consistent rules.
Supervise meal times, outdoor play, and free play, ensuring children's safety and well-being.
Engage with children indoors and outdoors and participate in planning and leading activities.
