About The Position

Join Celebree School of Smyrna as an entry-level Preschool Teacher Assistant and help fulfill Celebree’s values to protect, educate, and nurture. You will support lead teachers in providing high standards of care and education and meeting each child’s individual needs. All shifts are available Monday through Friday: morning, afternoon, and evening.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Big passion for early childhood education.
1–3 years of experience working in early childhood education with young children.
Strong willingness to learn.
Demonstrate collaboration and team-building characteristics.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with classroom management and compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Help provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
Assist with effective classroom transitions.
Assist with and supervise children during activities, counseling them as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
Maintain the classroom’s appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
Maintain a positive, professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them by name, addressing concerns promptly, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates about their child’s development and classroom activities.
