About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Twos Teacher to join its early childhood education team. The teacher guides toddlers through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, social growth, independence, and a love of learning in a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment. The role works with co-teachers, school leaders, and families to support children’s development and a positive classroom culture.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months of experience working in childcare required.
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child’s development.
- Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
- Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they grow more independent.
- Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
- Partner with co-teachers and school leaders to uphold a supportive classroom culture.
