About The Position

This position involves teaching preschool within the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). It also offers potential leadership opportunities, including supervision of the preschool department, administrative recordkeeping, and recruitment efforts. Depending on skills and interest, the role may include assistant ECC director responsibilities. The program emphasizes creative, child-centered programming, such as outdoor learning and nature-based curriculum.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education or child development.
  • ZA or ZS endorsement (endorsements issued by the Department of Education in conjunction with a teaching certificate).
  • Experience working with early childhood students in a preschool setting.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships with families and staff.
  • Ability to use technology with basic proficiency at a minimum.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
  • Must be familiar with Early Childhood Curriculum.
