Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups.
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Must meet state licensing requirements, including background check clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

• Early childhood education coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between preschool classrooms to provide coverage and support as needed throughout the day.
• Assist lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate, curriculum-based activities for early childhood learners.
• Supervise and engage children during play, meals, rest, and transitions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment in accordance with licensing standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
• Support social-emotional development and positive behavior guidance techniques.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress.
