About The Position

Little Lukes is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support children ages 3 to 5 in a center-based preschool program in Oswego, New York. The role involves working with a team in an engaging learning environment supported by an award-winning curriculum and supplies intended to stimulate children’s development. Little Lukes also provides integrated preschool classrooms serving typically developing children and children with special needs. The position is part time, Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the option to work additional hours. Pay is up to $22 per hour with NYS TA Certification. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
High energy level and a caring personality.
NYS TA Certification preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with children with special needs is ideal.
Preschool or PreK experience is a plus.
Prior childcare or daycare experience is preferred.
Teamwork mentality and caring attitude.

Responsibilities

Support children’s exploration, learning, and growth in a preschool setting.
