About The Position

Kama‘āina Kids, one of Hawai‘i’s Top Workplaces, is hiring Preschool Staff in Ewa/Kapolei, including Teachers, Infant/Toddler Caregivers, and Aides. Requirements

At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (for all roles)
A love for working with children and willingness to learn (for Preschool Aide)
1–2 years of experience working with children ages 2 and under in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (for Infant/Toddler Caregiver)
PATCH-qualified (or eligible), including: CDA (Child Development Associate), OR Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (for Preschool Teacher)
6–12 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (for Preschool Teacher)

Responsibilities

Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children
Leading or assisting with activities like art, music, storytelling, and outdoor play
Supporting daily routines (meals, diapering, naps, transitions)
Encouraging social, emotional, and early learning development
Building positive relationships with children, families, and your team
