About The Position

St. Mary Magdalene School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for a combined classroom of children ages 3–4. The Assistant Teacher will partner with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom that encourages curiosity, learning, kindness, and faith. The role supports children’s academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth and contributes to an organized, welcoming learning environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Recent satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks.
• Participate in Virtus Protecting God's Children training.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with children is preferred but not required.
• Patience, compassion, and genuine enjoyment of young children.
• Collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a supportive environment.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education and willingness to live them out in the classroom.
• Bilingual Spanish and English skills are a plus.
