Requirements

18+ years old
High school diploma or GED
CDA, associate's, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (for Qualified Teachers)
6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting (for Qualified Teachers)
12–24 months of experience working with children under age three in a licensed setting (for Infant & Toddler Caregivers)
Required infant/toddler training (training available if needed) (for Infant & Toddler Caregivers)
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawaiʻi (or have plans to relocate).

Nice To Haves

Limited Teacher Aide opportunities available for those passionate about working with children but not yet meeting all PATCH qualifications. Training, including CDA sponsorship, will be provided.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen and supported
Plan engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
Encourage social, emotional, language, and cognitive development through play
Build positive partnerships with families
Work closely with fellow teachers to create a fun, collaborative classroom environment
