About The Position

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawaiʻi (or have plans to relocate).

Nice To Haves

• CDA, associate's, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
• 6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting (for Qualified Teachers)
• 12–24 months of experience working with children under age three in a licensed setting (for Infant & Toddler Caregivers)
• Required infant/toddler training (training available if needed)
• Passion for working with children

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen and supported
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
• Encourage social, emotional, language, and cognitive development through play
• Build positive partnerships with families
• Work closely with fellow teachers to create a fun, collaborative classroom environment
