Requirements

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CDA, associate's, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • 6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting
  • 12–24 months of experience working with children under age three in a licensed setting
  • Required infant/toddler training (training available if needed)
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)

Nice To Haves

  • If you're passionate about working with children but don't yet meet all PATCH qualifications, ask about our limited Teacher Aide opportunities. We'll help you complete the required training—including paying for your CDA—to grow your career with us.
  • We may have limited Aide positions available while we help you complete training to meet PATCH Caregiver qualifications. (Pay range: $17–$18.50/hour) We even cover the cost of your CDA! (Child Development Associate)

  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen and supported
