About The Position

The Presales Systems Engineer supports TD SYNNEX’s Caribbean and Central America organization by providing presales technical guidance, solution design, partner enablement, and consulting for HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper solutions across the region. The role works with Vendor Management, Business Development Managers, sales teams, and channel partners to drive growth through technical leadership, demonstrations, Proofs of Concept and Proofs of Value, training, and opportunity support. Candidates based in Guatemala, El Salvador, or Honduras are welcome to apply.

The position combines networking expertise and customer-facing presales work, translating business needs into effective technical solutions. It is performed in a remote professional work environment, with occasional travel within Central America and the Caribbean. Flexibility outside standard working hours and occasional on-call availability may be needed for customer engagements and critical business needs.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in presales, systems engineering, networking, or a related technical role.
• Experience with enterprise network design, switching, routing, WLAN, security fundamentals, discovery, solution sizing, and BOM creation.
• Knowledge of HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper solutions, including architecture, demonstrations, PoCs, and technical documentation.
• Experience with channel partners, distributors, resellers, or technology vendors.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
• Customer-focused problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple opportunities, collaborate effectively, and work independently.
• English and Spanish proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide presales technical support for HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper opportunities.
• Apply hands-on expertise across HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper solutions.
• Help partners and sales teams design and size solutions, validate architectures, and create bills of materials (BOMs).
• Deliver product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and Proofs of Value (PoVs).
• Lead customer presentations, workshops, and technical discovery sessions.
• Provide technical enablement for partners, resellers, and internal teams.
• Create technical documentation, reference architectures, and best-practice guidance.
• Participate in vendor initiatives, certifications, webinars, and training programs.
• Partner with Vendor Management and Business Development to build pipeline and help close opportunities.
• Recommend technical solutions aligned with customers’ business and technology needs.
• Help achieve vendor KPIs for enablement, demonstrations, certifications, and technical engagements.
