This Prepared Foods Associate position involves servicing and fulfilling customer orders at the prepared foods counter, requiring professional and efficient service along with a high level of product knowledge.

Requirements

Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
Proper phone etiquette while taking orders and messages
Ability to effectively communicate between peers

Culinary or food service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prepares and packages product as directed
Assists customers with orders placed
Properly prices merchandise
Stocks and rotates merchandise as directed
Maintains current knowledge of product
Maintains clean and organized work area free of hazards
Provides exceptional customer service in a timely and professional manner
Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy
Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Samples product at the direction of the department manager
