About The Position

Tattersall in River Falls, Wisconsin, is hiring a Prep/Pantry Line Cook to perform culinary activities in the kitchen, with primary responsibility for creating memorable guest experiences. The culinary team prepares elevated New American cuisine using fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients whenever possible, and works collaboratively and creatively to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Tattersall River Falls is a destination distillery, event center, and dining experience with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a cocktail room, a full-service restaurant, and event catering and coordination. Requirements

1–2 years of related experience in a high-volume, high-energy food and beverage environment.
Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to food, safety, and sanitation.
Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Ability to stand for long periods, squat, and reach.
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
Food handler certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility by following food quality standards and sanitation regulations.
Prepare the line for service by estimating meal-period food requirements and procuring products from storage.
Work hot or cold line stations and cook and prepare food according to recipes.
Receive and check in purchased items to ensure their quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other kitchen equipment.
Reorganize the work area in preparation for the next shift.
Segregate and remove trash and garbage, and clean and maintain the trash area.
Sweep and mop floors.
