About The Position
Sueno, a contemporary Mexican restaurant in downtown Dayton, OH, owned and operated by The Idea Collective, is seeking a Prep Cook. This role is crucial for setting up the entire Sueno team for a successful service. The Prep Cook is responsible for washing, chopping, setting up, preparing, planning, stocking, and cleaning during the day. This position is considered the backbone of the back of the house and a lynchpin of the guest's dining experience. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, meticulous, a perpetual helper, an eternal optimist, caring, steadfast, independent, and loyal. The company is looking for someone who works well independently, enjoys lists, and has a passion for cleanliness and order.
