About The Position

Provide essential support to the culinary team through efficient food preparation, organization, and maintenance of cleanliness standards, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high-quality execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes, prep sheets, and production lists
  • Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment
  • Ability to maintain par levels of prepped ingredients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from chefs and supervisors
  • Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Country club or high-volume kitchen experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Consistently support the culinary team in exceeding Member expectations
  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes, prep lists, and chef instructions
  • Wash, peel, cut, and portion food items accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO standards)
  • Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts
  • Assist line cooks and chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with coworkers and management
  • Adapt to changing prep needs, special requests, and event requirements
