About The Position
Prep Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for each shift by preparing food and supporting kitchen operations. They provide dependable, fast service and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Chili’s is a casual dining company founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1975, with a service- and hospitality-focused culture.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute recipe procedures properly.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
