About The Position
The Prep Cook prepares house recipes, supports the dish room, organizes the walk-in, and keeps preparation fully stocked for line cooks. The role includes recalculating recipes to adjust yield and baking off breads. The position may be full-time or part-time, with work mostly on weekends.
Requirements
- Experience in restaurant cooking.
- Experience with sanitation, knife skills, and following recipes.
- Experience using light food equipment, a Robo Coupe, a two-rack dishwasher, an Emerson blender, and blenders.
- Experience with FIFO.
Nice To Haves
- A valid ServSafe certificate; it is not required, but comes with a pay increase.
