About The Position
Prep Cooks are members of Chili’s Heart of House team, responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting kitchen operations. The role involves following recipes, preparing foods using different methods, completing prep work, and keeping stations stocked and set up while following safety and sanitation procedures. Team members contribute to a safe, welcoming environment and provide dependable, fast service.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different methods of preparation.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
