About The Position

Hosts begin each Guest’s experience by providing hospitality and service that reflects Chili’s. The role is suited to someone who takes pride in warmly welcoming Guests and making them feel special. Hosts greet Guests, manage the wait list, answer and direct telephone calls, communicate concerns to the Manager when appropriate, assist fellow Team Members, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, ready to greet Guests with a smile.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.
• Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
• Manage the wait list.
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
• Answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls.
• Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
