About The Position

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a Medical Assistant in Port Orange, Florida, to provide patient care in a dermatology and aesthetic services practice. The Medical Assistant evaluates and documents patients’ skin conditions and dermatological symptoms, updates medical histories, reviews information about skin health, informs patients about treatments, conducts non-intrusive medical surgeries, and educates patients about preventive skin care. The role also includes screening patients and employees upon entry.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be computer literate.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within four weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of dermatology experience is preferred.
• A Medical Assistant certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program is preferred.
• CPR certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
