About The Position
Prep Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food, completing prep work, and keeping stations stocked and set up while following recipe, safety, and sanitation procedures. Team members contribute to a safe and welcoming environment and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
