About The Position
Chili's Prep Cook, a Heart of House Team Member, is responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role prepares food according to company recipes and procedures, stocks and sets up stations, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Prep Cooks work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and contribute to Chili's team-focused hospitality.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Prepare a variety of foods using different preparation methods.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
