About The Position
The Prep Cook prepares ingredients and food items for chefs and assists chefs as needed. This position is located at The Valley Hospital in Paramus and works a day shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- ServSafe certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Good communication and interaction skills.
- Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details.
- Ability to function competently and maintain composure during stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing department needs.
- Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively problem-solve.
