About The Position

Midtown is seeking a Prep Cook/Dishwasher to support its restaurant and food and beverage operations. The role involves preparing and plating meals, preparing ingredients and basic recipes, and maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary kitchen. The position also supports periodic catering and member events. The team works collaboratively across food and beverage and other areas of the business, including fitness, racquet sports, and spa. Other duties may be assigned as needed to ensure proper department operations.

Responsibilities

Wash, chop, store, and handle ingredients.
Prepare raw ingredients for use in recipes.
Prepare sauces and garnishes efficiently and assist cooks with basic recipes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen areas in compliance with Department of Health sanitary guidelines.
Assist with periodic catering and member events.
Anticipate problems and take preventative measures to support members and department operations.
