Requirements

Excellent client service and communication skills
5+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects required
Extensive knowledge of material and labor pricing, market conditions, and individual trade costs
Understanding of CM/architect/client dynamics
Comfort navigating fee strategy, negotiating procurement & buyout opportunities, and managing risk
Strong ability to analyze project drawings, specifications and RFPs
Proven ability to multi-task in a time sensitive/deadline environment

Nice To Haves

A degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus!
Mastery with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam Revu, & Microsoft Office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Project, Excel, etc.)
High mastery in navigating and leading turnover meetings and cost analyses
Strong presentation and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships through excellent client service
Serve as a dedicated resource partner to many of our established national account clients, with projects across the country
Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams
Develop complex conceptual estimates, bids, and pricing analysis for projects of varying size and scope
Collaborate with our marketing department and other internal teams during the preconstruction/proposal/bidding process by reviewing RFPs and bid documents and estimating project costs
Perform detailed quantity take-offs
Prepare time, cost and labor estimates for construction projects by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and RFPs
Develop subcontractor relationships, maintain list(s) of qualified bidders, and solicit bids
Evaluate bid specifications and drawings
Conduct site surveys and develop budgets and RFIs
Conduct research on latest construction materials, pricing, and trends
