About The Position

Eddyfi Technologies is seeking a Precision Assembler to join the production team for its ET/UT product line. The role involves carrying out a variety of high-precision assembly tasks using assembly procedures, mechanical plans, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and high-quality products. The assembler performs wiring and assembly for mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems, as well as repairs and updates units and products. The position requires meticulousness, dexterity, and comfort working with a microscope. Eddyfi Technologies develops non-destructive inspection devices, probes, and software for critical components in industries including oil, aerospace, and nuclear. Requirements

Be comfortable working with a microscope.
Have previous experience soldering under a microscope.
Be autonomous and resourceful, with the ability to work in a team.
For positions based in Quebec, proficiency in written and spoken French is required, along with functional English skills.

Responsibilities

Perform wiring and assembly of components for mechanical, electronic, or electrical systems.
Repair or update units and products.
Maintain production and quality standards.
Communicate irregularities involving assembly procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity, or quality to the production team manager.
Use precision tools and measuring devices to perform assembly activities.
Follow verbal and written instructions, including detailed plans, diagrams, procedures, and assembly sketches, when completing assembly and sub-assembly tasks.
